About us
Critical Care is a very special branch of Medicine. The ever changing, unstable patient diagnosis, the existence of multiple co-monbidities, the lethal unpredictable complications all add up to the severity of the situation.
These situations demand an intensive care meaning round the clock, Intense monitoring and treatment. This highly demanding 24×7 man needs a well experienced and team to care for the patients.

Our Team
Dr Guruprasad
MBBS, DA FCCM, EDIC
The most senior and experienced member of the team. He has completed his MBBS from KMC, Hubli in 1990 and diploma in Anesthesiology from Mysore Medical College in 1993 with 25 years of rural Anesthesiology practice in his dossier. He decided to pursue Critical care in 2014.
He completed his Fellowship from the college of Critical care medicine in April 2019 and EDIC in November 2021
He as been a faculty in many National and Zonal Anaesthesiology conferences. He has mentored many aspiring students in Anaesthesiology and critical care medicine.He had been trained and certified in 2D Transthoracic Echocardiology
Dr H I Mali
MBBS, DA
Senior member of the team Dr Hanamant Mali. Dr Mali has completed his MBBS from KMC Hubli in 1997 and Diploma in Anaesthesiology from JJMMC Davangere . He is Trained in Paediatrics Anaesthesia from esteemed institute B J Wadia Hospital Bombay. He has been Consultant in Anaesthesiology since 15 years in Gadag. He has successfully completed Comprehensive ECHO and Ultrasound training program from JROP Institute of Echocardiography Delhi, Has done the Fellowship FCCCM ( Fellow of the College of Critical Care Medicine). Practicing Critical Care Medicine for the last 10 years.
Dr Renuka Binnal
MBBS, DA
Dr. Renuka Binnal has completed her MBBS from BLDEA’s Shri B M Patil Medical College in the year 2000 and her Diploma in Anaesthesiology from Jawaharlal medical College, Belgavi in 2009. She further finished her Post Doctoral Certificate Course in Cardiac Anaesthesia from the same institution.
She has served for 10 years as a consultant at CSI Hospital, Gadag- Betageri. She is experienced and competent in managing critically ill and cardiac patients.
Dr Shwetha Sankanur
MBBS, MD
Dr. Shwetha has completed her MBBS from javaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belgavi in 2007 and did her MD in Anaesthesiology from JJMMC, Davangere in 2011.She then worked in MICU of St.John’s Medical College, Bengaluru.
She is the recipient of Gold medal in MD Anaesthesiology from Rajiv gandhi university of health sciences, Bengaluru.
She has been a consultant in Anaesthesiology and has been practicing Critical care medicine since 2011.
She has also completed her Fellowship in Pain managemnet from Dr. Joshi’s Institute of pain, Hyderabad.She has been faculty in few Zonal and state conference in Anaesthesiology.
She has completed both levels of European Diploma in Intensive Care in 2021 on first attempt. She has completed her Bachelor and Master Course on Musculoskeletal Ultrasound and is actively practising Pain and Palliative Care at Gadag. She has an Instagram page and YouTube channel named CurePain. She is an AHA certified trainer for BLS, ACLS and is keen to train doctors and general public in CPR.

This team holds and binds the whole hospital together, from doctor, nurses, paramedical staff to the housekeeping staff, front desk staff, patients and attenders.
They ensure the smooth functioning of all the departments in the hospital.

” The face of the hospital is our reception team. We have a team of committed well trained, soft spoken individuals who are willing to help with any of the patient’s and attender’s queries.
Chirayu Critical Care has been giving service for the past 8 years (since 2014) with the above core values in mind. It is the treatment that allows 24×7, incessant continuous care of critically ill as well as emergency patients.
Laboratory Team
In today’s era of evidence based medicine, no hospital is complete without a dedicated team of laboratory personal. They are meticulous and comitted to quality monk. Our laboratory provided 24×7 services for our in-patients, thanks to out laboratory team.
Pharmacy Team
Modern medicine relies heavily on medications and so does emergency and Critical care sinec it is a 24×7 hospital, our pharmacy also provides 24×7 services with round the clock availability of certified pharmacist
Nursing Team
The team comprises of many well trained and dedicated nurses who provide round the clock monitoring as well ad care for the basic needs of a critical patrient- bed bath and feeds, It is immpossible to run the hospital without them.
Our Housekeeping Team
“Cleanliness is next to Godliness”, this is the motto of our hospital staff who believe in keeping the hospital spotless and clean. Maintaining clean and hygienic environment around the patient is of prime importance in prevention of hospital acquired and nasocomail infections.
